Safe Haven UC provides a women’s recovery application for those ready to begin a Christ-centered, 12-month residential recovery program.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Safe Haven is not able to accept pregnant applicants at this time.

To begin the process, applicants should complete an application and participate in a face-to-face interview with Safe Haven staff. Admission is based on program eligibility, commitment to recovery, and bed availability.

How long is the program?

Can I work while in the program?

Yes. Employment is a required part of the program. Staff will assist with job readiness, applications, and job placement.

Can I have visitors?
During the first 30 days, residents are in a blackout period with no visitors or phone calls. This allows each resident to focus on adjusting to the program, building healthy routines, and beginning the recovery journey.
After the blackout period, approved visitation may be granted as the resident progresses through the program.
Are home passes allowed?

Home passes are allowed as residents progress through the program, as long as program requirements are being met.

Can I have my cell phone?

To help eliminate distractions and encourage personal growth, residents do not have access to personal cell phones during most of the program. With staff approval, a resident may have a cell phone during the final month as she prepares to transition back to independent living.

Can I smoke or vape?

Smoking is not permitted. Vaping may be allowed according to program guidelines.
